Terms of Service

Last updated: November 6, 2026

These terms cover the Miku bot on baff.gg, the website at mikubot.app and the dashboard at dash.mikubot.app. "We" means the people who run Miku, and "you" means anyone using them. The owner goes by Ozora on baff.

Agreeing to these terms

By adding Miku to a server, using its commands or logging in to the dashboard, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Miku. You also have to follow baff.gg's own rules, which still apply to everything you do there.

What Miku is

Miku is a community bot. Right now it plays music in voice channels, and each server can pick its own stations, mixes and settings. We plan to add more over time, and features can change or go away as we do. Miku is not affiliated with Crypton Future Media or baff.gg.

Who can use Miku

You need to be at least 13 years old, and old enough to use baff.gg where you live. If baff.gg asks for a higher age, that age applies.

Using Miku properly

Please don't:

  • Break the law or baff.gg's rules with Miku
  • Attack, overload or try to break the bot, website, dashboard or server they run on
  • Try to get into a server's dashboard or anyone's account without permission
  • Automate Miku in a way that gets around its limits or hurts it for other people
  • Record, rip, copy or rebroadcast the music Miku plays
  • Copy our site, art or branding, or pretend to be Miku or its owner

If you add Miku to a server

You're responsible for how Miku is used there, including who gets Manage Server and who gets the DJ role, since those people can change Miku's settings. Only add Miku to a server if you're allowed to, and let your members know about anything they should know, like Miku being in a channel 24/7.

Music and art

The music, characters and artwork belong to their rights holders. Using Miku lets you listen through the bot and view the site, and nothing more. It doesn't give you any rights to the songs, art, names or logos, so you can't copy, download, reuse or redistribute them. If you own something that appears on Miku and think it shouldn't be here, contact us and we'll look into it.

Premium

Premium isn't available yet, so you can't buy anything from Miku today. The plans on our Premium page can still change. If we launch it, we'll publish the price and any extra terms before anyone pays.

Availability

We try to keep Miku running around the clock, but we don't promise any uptime. It can go down, skip, lose a setting or stop working for a while, whether that's because of us, baff.gg or our hosting. Our status page is for information only.

Stopping

You can stop any time by removing Miku from your server and logging out of the dashboard. We can limit or block a user or server, or remove Miku from a server, if we think these terms were broken or to protect Miku or other people. We can also change or shut down Miku at any time.

No guarantees

Miku is provided "as is" and "as available". As far as the law allows, we don't make any promises about it, including that it will suit what you need, be free of bugs or always be online.

Limits on our liability

As far as the law allows, we aren't responsible for indirect or knock-on losses, or for lost data, profits or members, that come from using Miku or not being able to use it. Our total liability is limited to what you've paid us for Miku, if anything. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you, and nothing here removes rights the law says we can't take away.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Miku grows. We'll change the date at the top when we do. If you keep using Miku after that, it means you accept the new terms.
